Commercial Laundry – Washroom Machine Operator

We are looking for a Permanent Full time or Part time Commercial Laundry – Washroom Machine Operator to join our busy laundry facility.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to understand and perform the fundamentals of commercial laundry washing and production. This position is for a career-minded person and job progression and promotion is available within the company. Previous production experience and leadership within the Commercial Laundry Industry is preferred or in a similar production role, however not essential.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Work with production team membersto:

  • Ensure production and dispatch schedules are controlled and completed to a consistent quality and on time.
  • Process customer orders following clear production systems efficiently and in line with the production targets.
  • Follow the company systems and procedures of operation. This includes Quality Control ('QA'), Workplace Health & Safety and Training.
  • Perform cleaning, and housekeeping duties to ensure daily schedules and cleaning and housekeeping regimes are completed in a satisfactory and timely manner.
  • Adhere to and maintain safe working practices.

  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong team building and leading skills.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to promote and maintain a safe and supportive working environment.
  • Ability to operate computers systems.
