An opportunity for an enthusiastic and team-orientated Legal Assistant (Grade 03/04) is available within the Department of Customer Service (DCS) Legal Division.
In this role you will be a valued member of the legal administration team, working in an interesting and fast paced legal services environment. You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of administrative duties providing high quality administrative support to one of our in-house legal teams.
Regular duties will include general administration, financial invoicing, reporting, collation of briefing documents and providing operational support to lawyers.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you are a strong and effective communicator with great initiative who thrives in a fast-paced operating environment with competing priorities.

- Based in Sydney CBD with flexible arrangements available.
The person in this role will need to:
- Act as point of contact with key customers and stakeholders by responding to enquiries and providing information in an effective and responsive manner to meet business needs.
- Provide a range of administrative functions to support the efficient operation of Legal services including general administrative support to optimise efficiency and support the delivery of business outcomes.
- Assist with preparation of briefing documents, court filings and collating subpoenaed material to support operational delivery.
About You:
- You have a minimum of 2 years administration experience.
- You will be a motivated team player who is able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. You will understand the demands of supporting a diverse team.
- You can work independently where appropriate, are client focused, with an ability to develop practical innovative solutions to problems.
- You possess a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- You will be proficient in Microsoft 365 suite and be able to quickly learn other IT systems and applications as appropriate.
