Job Description

As a member of the Rest People and Culture team, this role is responsible for driving the strategic development and execution of initiatives that enhance leadership, humanistic and technical capabilities and various organisational development and learning and development initiatives for the Investment team in line with the People Strategy and Investments HR plan.

This role will be pivotal in creating a world-class investment capability and high-performance investment team culture that aligns with the Rest's values and Investments strategic priorities.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Partner with the Investment team to align organisational development (OD) initiatives with strategic priorities and drive engagement and performance.
  • Design and deliver OD strategies and programs across culture, DE&I, talent, leadership, and engagement, in line with the People Strategy.
  • Collaborate with OD and learning teams to build leadership capability and foster cross-team collaboration.
  • Identify training needs and contribute to workforce planning to support current and future business success.
  • Own and evolve the Investments capability framework and career pathways to support internal growth and leadership readiness.
  • Lead succession planning for critical roles in partnership with the performance team.
  • Curate learning content and campaigns that promote continuous development and align with business goals.
  • Manage strategic OD and L&D partnerships, including Investment Managers and external providers.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leaders on OD and L&D matters to enhance performance and culture.
  • Oversee and manage the Investments L&D budget in collaboration with finance and budget owners.
  • Facilitate team workshops and interventions, including occasional interstate travel.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure initiatives align with broader People & Culture strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of HR Investments, contributing to HR and L&D strategy.
  • Stay informed on industry trends in OD, leadership, DE&I, and workforce planning.
Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Learning and Development, or related field.
  • Significant demonstrable professional experience directly related to the role.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering organisational and learning and development programs within a complex corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of superannuation industry trends and challenges is desirable
  • Experience within investments or an asset management environment is preferable.
