About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our high-performing Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the General Manager, Finance, this role leads the operational finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and robust internal controls.

As a key business partner to the Executive and Operations teams, you will oversee core financial processes, manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors, and drive continuous improvement across finance systems and governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of finance professional responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the PRC group.

• Leading month-end and year-end close processes and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting

• Overseeing statutory reporting, external audit coordination, and compliance with accounting standards

• Managing all tax compliance obligations including BAS, FBT, GST, and income tax lodgements

• Liaising with external tax advisors to maintain and enhance PRC's tax governance framework

• Monitoring cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and covenant compliance

• Partnering with executives and senior managers to lead budgeting and strategic planning, and support strategic insights and investment decisions

• Identifying and driving finance system improvements and automation in collaboration with the Finance Systems & Data Manager

• Contributing to ESG reporting, internal control enhancements, and risk management processes

• Overseeing financial management for the PRC Partnership

About you

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who can combine technical expertise with strong business partnering skills. You will be:

• A qualified Accountant (CA/CPA) ideally with Big 4 experience

• Experienced in financial management, reporting, and compliance (minimum 5 years in a senior finance role)

• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling

• A confident communicator who can engage effectively with executive and operational leaders

• Technically proficient in finance and reporting systems, with advanced Excel skills

• A natural leader with a collaborative and continuous improvement mindset

Experience in healthcare, private practice, or professional services will be highly regarded.
