About the role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Advisor to be part of our Respectful Workplaces, People & Capability Command. The role is responsible for delivering education initiatives and high-quality advice to employees to support them in complying with the NSWPF Respectful Workplace Behaviours Policy. This role provides a point of contact for NSWPF employees to obtain advice about their rights, obligations and options for responding to and reporting misconduct related to respectful workplace behaviours and workplace grievances.
The Respectful Workplaces Senior Officer is responsible for ensuring consistent and quality implementation of workplace behaviour guidelines, policies, systems standards and programs in order to promote inclusive workplaces which value individual differences and eliminate harassment, discrimination, victimisation and bullying. The role is also responsible for providing advice to Commanders / Managers on workplace issues and potential misconduct as part of the reporting requirements under the Respectful Workplace Behaviour Guidelines, and for supporting commands in early intervention and prevention approaches. High level advisory is required through delivery of facilitated discussions to resolve workplace conflict and the provision of a safe reporting service to empower all members to report respectful workplace misconduct and grievances.
