At the City of Armadale, we're looking for a practical leader with a sharp operational mind and a strong safety lens to help shape the next chapter of waste recovery in Western Australia. 

We're upgrading our approach to landfill and resource recovery, investing in compliance, customer experience, and long-term capability. You'll be right in the thick of it.

What the role looks like

•    Supervise daily operations at the City's landfill and recovery facility 

•    Lead and develop a capable, safety-first team of operators and weighbridge staff 

•    Oversee contractors, licensing compliance and daily site logistics 

•    Support procurement, reporting and continuous service improvement 

•    Be a key player in our sustainability and circular economy goals

You're someone who...

•    Has experience supervising landfill, waste or operational field teams 

•    Brings strong leadership, planning and team development skills 

•    Understands the importance of compliance, risk and contractor performance 

•    Is confident working across customers, systems and sustainability targets 

•    Knows how to balance getting the job done with long-term improvement
