PACE Appointments is proud to partner with a respected national manufacturing client in Caboolture, seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the Automation & Electrical Department.

About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll lead a team of electrical technicians and apprentices while ensuring the site's electrical systems and control infrastructure are safe, compliant, and performing at their best.
You'll play a key role in developing preventative and predictive maintenance strategies and delivering projects that support site growth and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the electrical and automation team
- Oversee electrical maintenance, repairs, and optimisation of plant systems
- Establish and maintain best-practice preventative and predictive maintenance systems
- Manage and deliver electrical projects to scope, budget, and deadlines
- Ensure all electrical work meets statutory, safety, and corporate standards
- Collaborate across departments to drive process and system improvements
- Promote a harm-free, safety-first workplace culture
This position would suit an experienced Electrical Supervisor or a highly skilled Electrician with previous leadership or leading-hand experience who's ready to take the next step into a supervisory role. About You
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- 5+ years' industrial electrical experience
- Previous experience accessing and working with PLCs online for monitoring anf fault finding (not just installation).
- Proven experience working with VFDs, including integration and troubleshooting via PLC systems.
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and control systems in industrial environments.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices for automation and electrical systems
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing or heavy industry
- Certificate III and IV in Electrotechnology (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and quality standards
- Confident communicator who can influence and develop others
Eligibility
Applicants must currently reside in Australia and hold full working rights.
Visa holders will only be considered if they have proven electrical supervisory experience in Australia or New Zealand.
