About the Role

A leading civil contractor is currently seeking experienced plant operators for ongoing civil and subdivision projects across Sydney. We are looking for operators with proven experience on one or more of the following machines:

  • Grader
  • Dozer
  • Excavator
  • Watercart
  • Drott

What You'll Be Doing

  • Safely and effectively operate a variety of heavy construction equipment such as graders, dozers, excavators, watercarts, and drotts
  • Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned machinery
  • Collaborate with the broader construction team to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Participate in continuous training and upskilling to stay current with industry best practices

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Plant Operator in the construction industry
  • Proficient in the operation of either graders, dozers, excavators, watercarts, or drotts
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Relevant licences and certifications, such as HR or HC driver's licence, and appropriate plant tickets
