Indetail is a bespoke commercial joinery manufacturer based in Laverton North, specialising in complex and architecturally designed joinery for award-winning construction and fit-out contractors across Melbourne. We pride ourselves on precision, quality, and design excellence.

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cabinet Maker to join our friendly, dynamic, and young team. If you enjoy challenging work, take pride in finishing, and want to grow in a cutting-edge environment, keep reading.

ASSEMBLY DUTIES (but not limited to)


• Receive jobs from Production Manager to assemble.


• Locate trolley with carcase/colour cut and edge parts

.
• Receive hardware bucket from Storeman

.
• Assemble carcases and allocate an area in the assembly bay to set up cabinets.


• Finish off jobs, e.g. fit doors, hardware, panels, kickers etc

.
• QA job when fully complete using QA form.


• Liaise with the Production Manager on difficult cabinets or issues

.
• Wrap up job on pallet and package all components so nothing is exposed to damage during transport


• Insert all paperwork with the job


• Assist with cleaning the factory during downtime and Friday afternoons.


• Deliver and attend to reworks if required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate must have;

  • Previous experience in cabinet making / bespoke joinery
  • Strong emphasis on high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment
  • Good analytical / problem-solving skills
  • Experience reading & interpreting shop drawings / cutting lists
  • Competent in handling various tools / equipment (manual & power tools)
  • Forklift licence is a strong advantage
  • Physically fit, able to lift and handle materials
  • Team-player attitude; reliable, punctual, and motivated
