THE COMPANY

Our client is a highly reputable and well-established mid-tier CA accounting practice with offices across all states of Australia.  Located in the heart of Perth their offices are modern, bright and colourful will a stunning kitchen area surrounded by stunning views of the Swan River and Elizabeth Quay.  They have a friendly culture with an inclusive team who help each other out when things get tough.  They are a sociable bunch with an active social club and regular Friday drinks (no pressure to go through).  For the coffee lovers they have just installed a brand new coffee machine with 12 different settings to help yourself and take a break.

This accounting firm are well known for offering some of the best training in Australia both internally and outside the offices.  You can enjoy an extended weekend break once a year, travelling to different parts of the country to learn more about the industry.  They will also pay for your CA or CPA fees upfront and there are opportunities to progress up to Partner level or to take a sideways step into another division to expand on your skill set.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will be responsible for delivering accounting and advisory services while working within the business advisory team.  Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing the financial statements
  • Preparing tax returns
  • Liaising with clients regarding queries and visiting them onsite
  • Working with the team to complete tasks and specific projects

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

  • Will have a minimum of two years' experience in Public Practice as an Accountant
  • Working towards your CA or CPA
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team
