*Help local young people build real skills and confidence* We're seeking a Training Program Administrator to coordinate our Youth Skills Program in Cloncurry.

You'll oversee enrolments, work with external stakeholders (RTOs, schools, employers), support our mentors to deliver practical learning, and assist students with basic theory work, so they stay on track. Part time or full time hours negotiable.

What you'll do

  • Lead and manage student enrolments: paperwork, USIs, inductions, attendance and progress tracking.
  • Accurate data entry and keep records tidy and current: training plans, competency evidence, contact notes and reports.
  • Communicate clearly and often with families, participants and stakeholders; following up promptly.
  • Coordinate with partner RTOs/TAFE, schools and employers to align delivery, placements and assessments.
  • Support mentors with session plans, resources, safety and daily check-ins.
  • Provide theory support (literacy and numeracy, study skills, catch-up sessions) and keep students engaged.
  • Maintain safe workshop practices and daily WHS checks-ins, collaborating with other staff.

About You

  • Patient, kind and consistent approach with young people.
  • Strong organisation and admin skills; reliable with follow-ups and reporting.
  • Very confident using customised software, able to work with online systems and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Clear communication and effective stakeholder engagement skills.

Essential checks

  • Blue Card (Working With Children Check) and NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) — or willingness to obtain.
  • Open or P-class QLD driver's licence.
  • First Aid & CPR — or willingness to obtain

Nice to have (not essential)

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to work toward).
  • Experience in Vocational Education Training admin/delivery, youth work, or coordinating training with partner RTOs.

Suit someone who enjoys helping others, has solid background in administration and is well organised and motivated to achieve set targets.
