This is a permanent full-time opportunity, with hybrid working flexibility available.
What's the role?
This is a key role within the Consumer and UNITE (CBB) Technology leadership team sitting in the CIO Office. As a Senior Manager, you will support our Consumer and UNITE technology strategy, helping to identify strategic approaches to address issues that should be prioritised, define problems and implement the strategies required to solve them.
You will be responsible for supporting the Consumer & UNITE CIO Office with the successful delivery of programs and projects with strategic and operational excellence. You will partner with the Business Manager to provide program oversight, governance, reporting and act as a key point of contact for the domains.
Key responsibilities for the role will include, but won't be limited to the following:
Your role will involve:
• Work with the Business Manager, Heads of Technology, Senior Managers and Consultants across the team depending on business need. This includes operations, risk management, program governance, financials and reporting.
• Draft and contribute to executive level papers for senior management (including Board).
• Build strong relationships both within the team and across the bank more broadly.
• Manage regular communication and reporting for the team.
• Remain current on key developments relating to banking competitors, particularly with respect to their strategic direction and execution capability.
What do I need?
• Previous experience in consulting, strategy, transformation & delivery or governance.
• Strong understanding of technology.
• Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to approach and structure complex, unfamiliar and ambiguous issues.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage to deadlines and deliver on time with high quality work.
• Strong computer skills (including PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc).
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Self-starter, self-driven, motivated individual.
