Role Overview

Bastion DBX is seeking a Client Director to lead key client relationships across travel, drinks, insurance, professional services and healthcare.

In this role, you'll steer integrated brand, digital and social programs that impact culture and drive growth—collaborating with Strategy, Creative, Production, Media and the broader Bastion businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Client leadership & growth

  • Day-to-day senior lead for clients; set vision with the MD and run each client's business, building strong relationships that drive growth for our clients' brands.
  • Convert business goals into clear briefs/roadmaps for both brand and performance.
  • Build account plans for retention, cross-sell and upsell across Bastion.

Strategy, creative & experience delivery

  • Partner with Strategy/Creative to develop compelling platforms and campaigns that ladder to commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure work is on-brand, channel-fit and measurable; champion test-and-learn and smart use of AI where useful.
  • Stay across trends and media shifts to keep ideas and execution modern.

Media alignment, measurement & budget oversight

  • Collaborate closely with media partners to align creative with channel strategy across paid social/digital.
  • Manage budgets, scope and change control; make performance visible with simple, actionable insights.

Cross-functional orchestration

  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary squads; unblock issues early and maintain speed/quality.
  • Document ways-of-working that scale

Commercial & new business

  • Own SOWs, pricing, forecasting and margin health.
  • Contribute to proposals/pitches and identify new opportunities within the portfolio.

Key Experience & Attributes

  • 6+ years
    in client service within integrated, digital or social-led agencies (brand-side experience welcomed).
  • Creative and curious, you love ideas and seeing them come to life.
  • Proven leadership of multi-channel programs from brand platform into advertising, social/content, and performance
  • Strong social platform fluency (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and comfort collaborating with media/influencer partners.
  • Data-literate with a practical approach to experimentation and optimization.
  • Commercially sharp: SOW hygiene, budgeting, forecasting and margin management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills; calm, solutions-focused and collaborative.
  • DTC/e-commerce experience a bonus.
  • Curiosity about AI to improve quality, speed and effectiveness.
