Engineers Australia (EA) is the country's trusted voice for the engineering profession. With nine geographic divisions across all states and territories plus six international chapters, EA serves as the government-authorised body for migration skills assessment and the sole entity recognised under the Washington Accord for engineering qualification accreditation.
The new Group Executive, Policy and Public Affairs will lead a team of 40 people to create and deliver consistent, persuasive and impactful engagement across all of EA's key stakeholder cohorts. Working closely with the Chief Executive, the broader executive team and Chief Engineer, Rear Admiral Katherine Richards AM CSC, the Group Executive, Policy and Public Affairs will enhance the organisation's profile, elevate its reputation as the industry thought leader and actively encourage a more diverse future engineering workforce.
We are looking for a highly strategic leader with demonstrated success in the development and implementation of marketing and brand strategies to drive awareness, member growth and engagement. You'll have a background in member-based organisations or experience in an engineering firm, or an adjacent sector.
