About the Role

We are seeking a full-time assistant manager for one of our largest centres in Queensland. Owned by the QLD Master Franchisee and located in the heart of Ashgrove, this role offers the right candidate the opportunity to combine their passion for educating our youth with their leadership, sales, and management skills. Working alongside our centre Manager, you will be managing a team of around 25 highly engaged tutors and interacting daily with motivated students and their parents.

Key Responsibilities:

Using our systems and following our proven methods to:

  • Handle enquiries from new families and conduct initial assessments
  • Create and maintain Maths and English learning plans to address students' needs
  • Teaching alongside our tutors
  • Report to parents on student progress
  • Recruit, train, and roster the tutoring staff
  • Perform daily administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the centre

Skills and experience

Teaching, Customer Service, and Sales experience is valued highly. You will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • A passion for education
  • Knowledge of the Maths and English concepts taught in Queensland
  • An intrinsic enjoyment of working with children
  • An ability and enjoyment in communicating with parents of students
  • An ability to quickly connect with people
