IT Assistant Sydney Head Office

As an IT Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our 17 Zara stores and corporate team. You will assist our IT Specialist in providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring our teams have the tools and technology they need to succeed. You should be solutions driven, have strong communication and thrive in a support role.

The Role

• Fixed term 12-month contract
• Part time 32hrs per week, Monday - Thursday
• Based in our Sydney CBD office

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide first level technical support to stores and head office teams
• Manage and resolve IT support requests using ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate issue tracking
• Contribute and collaborate in IT projects, including research, testing, and implementation whilst maintaining a high level of time management and organisational skills
• Assist in the setup, configuration and maintenance of IT equipment (eg. POS systems, laptops, mobile devices, printers)
• Manage and restock inventory of office and store devices
• Ability to seamlessly communicate with various types of users, extract and identify weakness/strengths to resolve the issues swiftly
• Participate in software and hardware upgrades and deployments
• Maintain best practices and enforce IT company policies and procedures
• Manage and update documentation of IT processes and procedures
• Aid in monitoring network performance and security, reporting any anomalies
• Assist with user account management and access control
• Develop skills in various technologies and tools used within the company
• Innovative and active skills in approaching BAU tasks

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 1 years' experience in similar role preferably in retail sector
• High level of understanding of applicable devices and programs such as android/iOS devices, laptops, printers, Windows, Office 365, network equipment, Bluebird/RFID, POS equipment
• Retail IT Sector Experience (please specify this in application if applicable)
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience with ticketing systems
• Strong and fluid communication skills
• Tertiary education within IT a plus
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Full working rights
