  • Develop and maintain strong broker relationships and stay informed on market trends.
  • Coordinate the annual insurance renewals process, including gathering necessary information, preparing documentation, and ensuring timely negotiation and renewals.
  • Analyse renewal proposals and advise senior management on coverage and cost-effectiveness, seeking out best value for money options.

International SOS Relationship Management

  • Act as the key contact for Abt Australia and UK for International SOS membership management, including service updates, renewal periods, and regular reporting.
  • Lead on the resolution of complaints received from program staff, influencing International SOS to uphold service level agreements and obligations.
  • Support travellers in accessing the International SOS Assistance App and related solutions.
  • Regularly monitor the International SOS Travel Tracker to remove duplicates, ensure accurate contact details, and prevent traveller drop-off.
  • Maintain an accurate list of authorised approvers and ensure correct report distribution and manager view access.
  • Prepare and present reports on membership utilisation, service performance and other trends to internal stakeholders (Program Delivery team, Senior Leadership Team, Program Teams)

Adaptive Mobilisation and International Travel Framework

  • Provide strategic advice to Program Teams on travel risk management and risk acknowledgement processes.

Travel Safety and Security Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Global Security Office and Program Safety and Security Managers or focal points on travel-related safety and security concerns, ensuring compliance with Abt Security protocols and Government of Australia travel and security advice (Smart Traveller).
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders to adopt best practices in travel safety and contribute to continuous improvement of safety frameworks.
