Green Light Australia are looking to engage a Pen Tester to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct penetration tests on networks, cloud environments and applications.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments using automated tools and manual techniques.
  • Develop and execute test plans, attack scenarios, and exploit chains.
  • Document findings in detailed reports, including risk ratings and remediation guidance.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to validate and resolve vulnerabilities.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in similar roles as Pen Tester for large complex environments.
  • Proven experience in penetration testing or ethical hacking.
  • Strong knowledge of common vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud platforms.
  • Ability to think creatively and simulate attacker behaviour

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.
  • Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GPEN, or similar will be seen as advantageous.
