This well-known utility company is currently on the lookout for an experienced Penetration Tester. You will be responsible for overseeing security testing of applications, networks, and infrastructures, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and manual testing techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct proactive and comprehensive penetration testing of systems, networks, and applications
  • Assess and maintain a set of attack tools suitable to the function and assist management teams in procurement of tools
  • Employ a variety of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques to simulate real-world cyberattacks
  • Conduct manual testing and analysis to uncover complex security issues

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification or certification is essential (e.g. Certified Ethical Hacker, Offensive Security Certified Professional, GIAC Penetration Tester)
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, attache vectors, and penetration testing methodologies, such as OWASP Top 10, PTES, and MITRE ATT&CK
  • Strong knowledge of tools used for infrastructure, web application, and network security testing
