About the role

As a casual Bar Attendant at the Royal Oak Hotel, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating an enjoyable atmosphere for guests. This is a great opportunity to join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality in a vibrant and friendly environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Maintaining a clean and organised bar area
  • Adhering to all relevant licensing laws and regulations
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock control
  • Working collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Taking drink and food orders at the bar

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience working in a bar or similar hospitality role
  • Minimum of 2+ years previous bar or hospitality experience required
  • Strong customer service skills and a welcoming, friendly personality
  • Excellent knowledge of a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure
  • Familiarity with relevant liquor licensing laws and regulations
  • Current RSA certification must be held at the time of application
  • TAB/Keno experience an advantage
  • Flexible availabilities
  • Must be available to work any shifts as required
  • Skilled at using tills (IdealPOS), eftpos and cash handling
