Workfast is seeking Manufacturing Operators - Hydraulic Hose for our client based in Welshpool, WA.

This role will see you working in the hose and bend manufacturing area, ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality products. You'll be hands-on in operating equipment, following lean manufacturing processes, and maintaining 5S standards while contributing to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to progress due to continuous training on offer.

What You Get

  • $37.00 per hour + penalties
  • Monday - Friday, 6.00am - 2.00pm
  • Overtime available after training period
  • Long-term, temporary to permanent opportunity
  • Immediate start available

What You Need

  • Australian Driver's License
  • Forklift License (Desirable, not required)
  • White Card
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams
  • Strong understanding of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • **MOST IMPORTANT** - Training will be provided, you must show a willingness to learn, ask questions, show an interest, be coachable

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operate machinery and equipment to manufacture hoses and bends to specification
  • Follow quality and safety processes, inspections, and documentation
  • Assist with material handling, plant cleaning, and shutdown procedures
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing efficiency, safety, and quality improvements
  • Work collaboratively with team leaders, supervisors, and fellow operators
