The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this broad and hands-on role offers exposure across financial and management reporting, consolidations, tax, and regulatory reporting. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial information, supporting audits, and driving process improvements, with a clear pathway to Finance Manager level within 12 months.

  • Oversee month-end and quarter-end close, consolidations, and financial reporting.
  • Review statutory accounts in line with AASB and IFRS.
  • Prepare APRA, ASIC, and tax reports, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
  • Partner with internal teams and provide clear insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Guide junior finance staff and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Assist the Head of Finance with ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.

About You

  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years' accounting experience, ideally in financial services or a regulated industry.
  • Strong technical accounting skills (AASB/IFRS).
  • Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Interested in developing leadership capability and progressing to Finance Manager level.
