Norlift is a well-established and reputable company specializing in Forklift, EWP and Material Handling Equipment. With a strong presence in Far North Queensland, including Cooktown and Weipa, we offer comprehensive services including Hire, Sales, Service, and Parts.

As a key member of the Norlift Cairns team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the high demand for field service breakdowns and maintenance requirements in Cairns and its surrounding areas, predominately working on EWP/Access Equipment. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and mature individual to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Key responsibilities;

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repairs on retail and internal hire fleet equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Work with a variety of equipment across different makes and models.
  • Uphold high standards of workmanship and housekeeping.
  • Assemble, maintain, diagnose, and repair EWP/Access Equipment, Forklift, light and heavy equipment as required.

The Successful Applicant Will Have:

  • Trade Qualification (Automotive/Mobile Plant or HD Mechanic).
  • A recognised mechanic trade qualification in any mechanical discipline is required.
  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining heavy plant and materials handling equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid Class C (Car) driver's licence is required.
