The Practice

We are a boutique law firm located in North Sydney. Our core areas of practice are Property Law, Estate Planning and Estate Administration (Probate). We require an enthusiastic and motivated Law Student/Paralegal to provide full administrative support to our specialist lawyers.

The Role

The successful candidate will assist the Principal and our senior lawyers with general day to day PA duties which will include:

  • Greeting clients

  • File creation and management

  • Legal research

  • Precedent creation and maintenance

  • Routine office administration (banking, controlled monies, archiving, photocopying, general filing and time recording)

  • Assisting with the maintenance and utilisation of the client data base for marketing and business development activities.

The role will provide;

  • Access to the daily operations of a law firm

  • The opportunity for supervised involvement in client matters in all our practice areas

  • Training on our in-house IT systems

  • Mentoring and development support.

The position is currently offered on a casual basis working at least 2 days per week from 9.00am to 5.00pm and will commence as soon as possible.

The Successful Candidate must have;

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Strong work ethic with a high level of attention to detail

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Able to adapt quickly and respond appropriately

  • A genuine interest in the firm's practice areas with aspirations to pursue a career in those areas.
