Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of a Room Attendant include:

  • Changing bed linen and making beds
  • Replacing used towels
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Scrubbing bathrooms and toilets
  • Vacuuming carpets
  • Dusting furniture
  • Replenishing bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
  • Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
  • Addressing guests' queries (e.g. on additional services)
  • Helping guests retrieve lost items
  • Ensuring all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
  • Following hotel security guidelines

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with others.
