Position Overview
Blooper Biotech, Inc. is looking for an ambitious and dynamic Deal Maker (Rain Maker) to drive strategic growth through new partnerships, enterprise relationships, and high-impact commercial opportunities. This role is for a proven business builder who thrives on creating value, building trust with executive stakeholders, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships.
You'll work closely with the executive team to identify and close transformative deals across biotechnology, clinical innovation, and data partnerships that align with Blooper's mission to accelerate discovery and deliver breakthrough therapies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and close high-value partnerships and enterprise deals in biotech and life sciences.
- Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, investors, and strategic partners.
- Lead negotiations from first contact to signed agreement, ensuring win-win outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, R&D, Regulatory, and Finance) to align deal structure with business goals.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to open new revenue streams.
- Represent Blooper at industry events, conferences, and executive briefings.
- Maintain a pipeline of high-value opportunities and provide accurate forecasts.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Blooper's technology and vision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years in strategic sales, partnerships, or business development — ideally in biotech, pharma, or SaaS for life sciences.
- Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
- Exceptional negotiation, networking, and storytelling skills.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and decision-making dynamics.
- Comfortable navigating executive-level discussions and cross-functional collaboration.
- High energy, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.
