  • Gain first-hand insight into how local councils serve the community
  • Full time, fixed term position until January 2028
  • Commencing at $79, % superannuation

About the Opportunity

This is more than just a graduate-level role, it's a chance to put your civil engineering skills into action on real projects that shape how people live, move, and connect in the heart of Adelaide.

As part of our Infrastructure Program, you'll step into a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll play a key part in planning, designing and delivering civil infrastructure projects that have a lasting impact, from improving footpaths and roads to enhancing drainage and water-sensitive urban design across our city.

In this two year opportunity, you'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from scoping and design, to monitoring project delivery and seeing the outcomes come to life. You'll also work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, giving you practical experience in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.

This role is perfect for someone who's ready to grow their experience in a supportive and knowledgeable team, while contributing to projects that matter. Whether you're early in your career or looking to build momentum, you'll gain valuable exposure to best-practice standards, governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivering real community outcomes, all while enjoying the flexibility and variety of working in local government.
