About Our Role
Continuation of the exciting expansion into Newcastle and the implementation of our long-term strategy has created an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to assist in the development of a Civil capability in New South Wales. With the appointment of an accomplished Principal Civil Engineer to provide project, client and personnel leadership, support and mentoring there are no shortage of career development opportunities.
There is a need for a technically strong engineer that can work across several sectors to develop designs. A desired candidate would have experience within the industrial and resources sector, water supply, wastewater supply, engineering.
As part of a growing team, you will be working with engineers at different experience levels and disciplines. We have a culture of training and mentoring within WGA the role would include the mentoring of more junior staff and we would also provide the opportunity for the mentoring by technical leaders within our teams.
About You
- Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders including our exceptional Civil and Water teams around Australia and New Zealand
- Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Multiple years of post-graduate Consultancy experience on one or more of the following:
- Industrial/resources infrastructure
- Water and Wastewater design
- Major bulk earthworks design
- Stormwater management
- Roads and Carparks
- Local Government Infrastructure
- Desire to expand your capacity to coordinate with external Clients
- Ability to mentor and develop Graduate Engineers and Designers, further expanding our team capabilities
- CPEng accreditation ideal
