Here in the APAC region, we're proud to create custom solutions that enhance the sustainability, performance, and efficiency through our infrastructure solutions. As our business continues to grow, it's an exciting time to join the team to help shape our future direction.
We are People Passionate and focus on developing our inclusive culture to enable our people to do their best work together as well as to grow and transform themselves and the built environment sustainably, underpinned by ethics and integrity.
Purpose
As a Tate Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our company by being responsible for the best practice warehousing and inventory control of raw materials, finished goods, traded products and factory supplies. You will ensure the maximum utilisation of our warehouse facilities in Sydney and Melbourne and coordinate with the projects, purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure proper receiving, transfer and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations across multi-site manufacturing and production facilities. You'll lead a hands-on team to deliver operational excellence, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency at every stage of the process. You are a hands-on, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment. With strong operational and people management skills, you balance strategic thinking with practical execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end warehouse operations — including receiving, storage, dispatch, and distribution — to meet business, production, and project needs.
- Developing and implementing warehouse systems, layouts, and processes that maximise space utilisation and operational efficiency.
- Taking full ownership of inventory management, ensuring stock accuracy through regular cycle counts, variance analysis, and strong traceability controls.
- Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
- Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Managing budgets, monitoring warehouse costs, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers, transport providers, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate logistics and deliver outstanding service.
- Preparing and analysing reports on operational performance, including inventory levels, OTIF, and DIFOT metrics, to drive informed decision-making.
Key relationships: Dealers and partners across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
