
Automation Analyst

We are working with a leading insurance organisation that is seeking an Automation Analyst to join their technology team. This role focuses on building and supporting automation workflows and integrations that improve efficiency, data accuracy, and service delivery across the business. This role is flexible on location, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Working closely with underwriting, claims, operations, and IT teams, you will gain exposure to a broad range of processes and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong RPA and integration skills who is looking to develop further in a complex and evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation workflows using UiPath
- Build and support API integrations between automation tools and core business systems
- Provide first-line support for automation issues and escalate where required
- Monitor automation performance and contribute to BAU service delivery
- Document processes, configurations, and user guides to support adoption and knowledge sharing
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and feedback
Key skills
- 2–3 years' experience with UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Robots)
- Solid understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP) and authentication protocols
- Familiarity with insurance systems or broker platforms is desirable but not essential
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (VB.NET, C#, Python)
- Knowledge of JSON, XML, and other data formats
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Clear communication skills and ability to work with non technical stakeholders
