We are primarily seeking a "Senior Automation Engineer " to work with one of our Federal client project.

Role Overview:

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise solutions spanning Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Outsystems applications, and API integrations. You will develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and strategies aligned with Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies. Your expertise will drive efficient test coverage across multiple platforms, enabling rapid, reliable releases while mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies and automation plans for project deliverables,
    focusing on D365, Outsystems, and API integrations
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to define clear, testable acceptance criteria using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile practices.
  • Build and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks using
    Selenium and SpecFlow with C#.
  • Ensure automation testing standards and best practices are applied across all projects, with a focus on quality, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Direct automation testing efforts based on risk analysis and project scope, prioritizing high-risk areas in each sprint/release.
  • Design and execute functional, regression, system, and integration
    tests across platforms including D365, Outsystems, and Boomi-connected services
    .
  • Provide test coverage reports and quality assurance sign-off for releases, identifying testing gaps and potential risks.
  • Perform manual testing when necessary, particularly for complex scenarios not suited to automation.
  • Configure and maintain
    CI/CD pipelines
    to orchestrate automated test execution, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives), contributing from a test engineering perspective.
  • Assist in documentation and validation of new features by collaborating closely with business analysts and end users.
  • Coordinate availability of
    test environments and test data, especially for integrated systems involving D365
    .
  • Support and mentor junior testers; provide leadership in applying automation best practices and quality standards.
