Are you a constructive and inclusive leader with a passion for safety, efficiency, and operational excellence? Graymont is seeking a dedicated Plant Manager for our Attunga facility in NSW. The Plant Manager plays a crucial role in enabling the delivery of high-quality lime and limestone products while fostering a safe and positive workplace culture

Key focus Areas the Role Will Include:

  • Lead safe, effective, and cost-efficient site operations. Manage operational budgets to maximize efficiency and achieve required Operating Expenditure (OpEx).
  • Set and achieve performance targets aligned with our Business Plan.
  • Oversee all aspects of safety, production, mining, quality assurance, maintenance, and community engagement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and maximize value creation.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with employees, customers, contractors, and the community.
  • Develop and mentor your team to build accountability, ownership, capability and engagement.
  • Coordinate risk management activities to safeguard our operations.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure reliable and consistent operations.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in mining or manufacturing operations.
  • Advanced people development skills with measurable team engagement and skill results.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively lead technical disciplines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Desirable Credentials:

  • Mine manager's certification/ticket.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (business, leadership or similar).
  • Experience in effective change management and in-depth financial analysis.
