Handyman/Maintenance Person

We are looking for an experienced Handyman/Maintenance Person to join our welcoming and friendly team on a Part time basis 3 days per week. Located at our Belrose Country Club Retirement Village, this role will allow you to utilise your knowledge and skills to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

This role is integral in ensuring that our residents are at the centre of everything we do, by ensuring exceptional professional and respectful service to those who call our beautiful village home.

The Position

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining buildings, plant & equipment
  • Attending to all reactive and preventative maintenance across the village
  • Interacting with trades and services to ensure repairs occur in a timely manner
  • Cleaning of the outside facilities
  • Following all Workplace, Health and Safety standards and reporting any safety or security concerns

We're on the lookout for someone with:

  • General all round handyman / maintenance experience
  • Great communication skills
  • Full Open Drivers Licence
  • National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
