About Q-GEN Cell Therapeutics:

Q-Gen Cell Therapeutics is part of the Scientific Services Group at QIMR Berghofer. It is a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility specialising in the production of investigational cell therapy products for clinical use. The team provides cleanroom facilities, quality management and logistics support to facilitate the transition from research to validated manufacturing processes.

Role Purpose / Responsibilities:

Applications are invited for the position of Supply Chain Assistant within Q-Gen Cell Therapeutics.

The successful applicant will assist with the procurement, management and shipping of materials required for the manufacture and distribution of GMP-grade cell therapy products. Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with sourcing, purchasing, logistics, and stock management of controlled materials for GMP production.
• Prepare and maintain accurate material specifications and associated documentation.
• Coordinate and execute inbound and outbound shipments of GMP products to clients and clinical sites, including container preparation and courier liaison.
• Support inventory control activities, including stock rotation, kit preparation, reconciliation, and stocktakes.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, Work Health and Safety, and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

Note: This position may require weekend or evening work.

About you:

You will bring:

• Experience in logistics, supply chain or stores management.
• Excellent communication skills and well-developed emotional intelligence.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

• Experience in laboratory operations, medical laboratory science, or business administration.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.

Remuneration: Salary range is $65,833 to $70,411 p.a. plus super and generous salary packaging. This is a full-time , fixed term appointment for two (2) years.
