Fremantle Ports refreshed 2027 Strategic Plan marks an exciting new chapter for one of Australia's most successful ports. Building on decades of expertise, we're setting a bold vision for the future, and we need an experienced, values-driven Aboriginal Engagement Coordinator to help make it happen.

If you're passionate about making a difference, love working in a fast-paced environment, and are inspired by the opportunity to contribute to something bigger, this could be the role for you.
Role Highlights
As Aboriginal Engagement Coordinator, you will meaningfully influence the outcomes of the RAP leading to improved recruitment and procurement outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the community. In this diverse, hands-on role, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the Reconciliation Action Plan activities.
- Use change management processes to get the RAP initiatives established.
- Increase the organisation's understanding, value and recognition of Aboriginal cultures, histories, knowledge and rights through advising on organisational cultural learning.
- Establish relationships with Aboriginal stakeholders and organisations for the RAP initiatives
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver initiatives that increase economic participation, training, employment opportunities and retention.
- Attend and prepare papers for relevant forums, committees and as required for the business.
- Support the coordination of events and activities to promote awareness and initiatives.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You're a confident communicator and natural relationship-builder and collaborator. You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working with other teams to deliver outstanding results.
You also bring:
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and businesses growing cultural knowledge and capabilities within organisations.
- Experience in project management and execution.
- Proven track record of developing and successfully implementing reconciliation initiatives within organisations.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and influencing.
- Broad business experience to understand and deliver business outcomes.
