Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role located in Perth, WA, for a Supervisor/Estimator. The Supervisor/Estimator will oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing estimates, scheduling and coordinating project activities, managing onsite teams, conducting site assessments, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and liaising with clients and insurers. Additionally, the role involves quality control, addressing any issues that arise during construction, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction project management, including scheduling and coordinating project activities
  • Skills in estimating, budgeting, and preparing detailed cost analyses
  • Ability to conduct site assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, insurers, and team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in the insurance building industry is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required
