About the role: 
 
Facility Manager  

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Facility Manager to lead our aged care community with a strong balance of clinical excellence, workforce leadership, and commercial responsibility. In this role, you will ensure a safe, well-maintained environment where residents receive the highest standard of care, staff feel supported and empowered, and operations run efficiently.

With a deep understanding of clinical governance and a keen eye for financial sustainability, you will drive continuous improvement while always prioritizing the well-being of residents and the people who care for them.

The Role:  

  • Leading the team to provide ongoing professional care and holistic support for residents  

  • Maintain day to day operational performance of the facility including accreditation, financial budgets, staffing, and safety  

  • Manage the budgetary requirements of the facility  

  • Lead the team, manage staff performance and build a positive culture within the team 

  • Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and followed, taking a continuous improvement approach whilst adhering to all accreditation standards  

Requirements:  

  • A minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with ideally 2 years of leadership experience. 

  • Full AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse  

  • Excellent clinical background along with a comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Standards. 

  • Commercial acumen and solid knowledge of the key business drivers of aged care. 

  • Understanding, exposure and management of the Aged Care Funding Instrument, Aged Care Legislation and Facility Accreditation. 

  • Ability to foster a safe workplace and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives to develop sustainable practice
