Surveillance Officer

Our client, Dungog Shire Council, is seeking a Surveillance Officer to join their Infrastructure and Asset Team. This hands-on role involves travelling to project sites and providing practical support for community and civil infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out site visits and inspections across civil and infrastructure projects
• Monitor contractor works and ensure compliance with council standards
• Maintain accurate records of works, inspections, and compliance
• Liaise with contractors, project teams, and council staff
• Provide on-the-ground, practical support for infrastructure projects

What's on Offer:

• 6–12 month contract, 35 hours per week
• Company vehicle provided to travel from site to site.
• Field-based, hands-on role across multiple project sites
• Contribute to meaningful community infrastructure projects

About You:

• Experience in civil, construction, infrastructure, or local government is desirable
• Certificate in Civil Construction, Asset Management, or equivalent experience
• Current OHS White Card
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Current driver's licence (essential)
