About us.

Inclusive Allied Health provides Occupational Therapy, Positive Behaviour Supports and Mentoring services to young people and adults living with psychosocial and neurodevelopmental disabilities across Adelaide, using functional recovery principles.

The Role.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Adelaide, SA. As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and developing personalised support strategies in line with legislative requirements for individuals with psychosocial and neurodevelopmental disabilities.

This role requires practitioners to collaborate with participants, their families and supports in order to provide a proactive and trauma informed approach, with a view to address challenging behaviours. PBS practitioners will facilitate training and support for families and caregivers, in addition to the implementation and monitoring of behavior support plans.

You will have...

  • Relevant qualifications related to an allied health discipline or similar, including AHPRA/ AASW/ other registration if applicable (OT, Social Work, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Developmental Educators, Education)
  • Minimum core practitioner status and e
    xperience in developing and implementing behavior support plans and conducting behavior assessments
  • Experience in working with individuals with psychosocial and neurodevelopmental disabilities
  • Skills in providing training and support for families and caregivers
  • Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a hybrid work environment
