At RJE Global, we specialise in projects involving the provision of electrical balance of plant solutions. This encompasses various aspects such as underground and overhead high voltage transmission systems, substations and switchyards, diesel and gas-fired turbines, wind farms, battery storage systems, and mining process plants. We have established strong partnerships with Australia's leading transmission network providers, suppliers of wind, gas, and diesel generation equipment, as well as prominent mining companies.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our team and support the successful planning and execution of our projects. As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are on track and delivered on time. Your expertise in scheduling tools and techniques will help ensure efficient resource allocation and project success. This is an Adelaide based role, however regular site based are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
  • Monitor project progress, update and replan schedules to reflect changes in scope, timelines, and resources allocations.
  • Analyse schedule data to identify potential delays or bottlenecks and propose corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate scheduling and reporting.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards on project status, highlighting schedule performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assign resources and assist in resource planning based on project needs and timelines.
  • Ensure project schedules comply with contractual requirements and company standards.

Required

  • Proven experience as a Project Scheduler in engineering, construction, or related industries.
  • Proficient in scheduling software, including P6 and MS Project.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and experienced in Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in scheduling and reporting.

Advantageous:

  • Professional certification in project management or scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP, or equivalent).
  • Experience in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects, particularly in the electrical sector.
  • Familiarity with project cost control and budgeting.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management and project compliance.
