Project Engineer

Monadelphous is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join our NSW Operations team on a permanent basis.
This role is pivotal in supporting the successful delivery of multiple shutdowns, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with budgetary and scheduling requirements.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and broader operations team, contributing to the planning, coordination, and execution of major projects.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Lead and coordinate site support functions including Quality, Technical, Planning, and Commercial.
* Assist the Project Manager in the development of comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules.
* Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules for both tender submissions and execution phases.
* Ensure the accuracy and availability of all project-related data during execution.
* Compile and present planning, scheduling, and cost control documentation.
* Support the preparation and submission of commercial deliverables, including reports, delay notices, and extension of time claims.
* Participate in client and contractor meetings, providing solutions to project management challenges.
What you will bring
* Demonstrated site-based experience within the resources sector (highly regarded).
* Proven ability to manage core elements of major project delivery.
* Engineering or trade qualifications preferred.
* Experience with heavy mechanical or mobile plant equipment advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management software.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and instructions for clients and internal stakeholders.
