We're currently seeking an Environment Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance and availability of our system and application environments — spanning Dev Test, Dev Ops and Pre-Production.

Reporting to the Integration Delivery Manager , you'll help improve the availability and resilience of critical IT environments, manage usage and issues, support releases and upgrades, and work collaboratively across teams to maintain operational excellence.

Full time permanent role | Location - Based in Melbourne

In this role you will be accountable and responsible to:

  • Coordinate and manage multiple system and application environments across the business and client landscape.
  • Maintain dashboards for environment usage, issue tracking, root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Support IT systems stability through proactive monitoring, capacity management and reporting.
  • Provide hands-on support for releases, deployments and business-critical environments.
  • Work closely with developers, system administrators, Database Administrators and vendors to resolve issues and minimise downtime.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance with established standards.
    Build strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors to deliver integrated and reliable environment solutions.

About You: You're a detail-oriented technical professional who thrives in dynamic, collaborative environments. You take pride in keeping systems stable and efficient, and you enjoy solving complex problems that make technology work better for everyone.

What You'll bring:

  • 3–5 years' experience supporting multiple Application Servers (JBoss, WebSphere).
  • 2+ years' experience supporting J2EE, Java, JSP, Apache and Tomcat applications.
  • Experience coordinating large, complex application environments (financial services experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL.
  • Experience building and maintaining environment dashboards.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to learn new technologies, and be able to work and deliver high quality documentation in a challenging environment
    Flexibility to provide after-hours or weekend support as part of a rostered 24x7 environment.
