This is a Casual role, with potential to become Permanent

The clinic is spread across two floors and on top of a full range of equipment our team also appreciate their dedicated staff room, ample parking and proximity to Williamstown train station. The clinic is only 2 minutes from Williamstown Esplanade and beach – perfect if you need to get something from the shops or want to eat your lunch out of the clinic.

About your new role:
- Undertaking general nursing duties including surgical and medical nursing, consult nursing, emergency and critical care, and pathology
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Caring, handling and cleaning all animals
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Reception duties including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients
Our ideal candidate:
We are looking for a person who is proudly professional and passionate about nursing, maintaining clinical standards, driving improvement, fear free/stress free handling and making sure that every animal who crosses our doorstep gets the best possible standard of care
- Holds a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with minimum of 2+ years of experience
- An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Excellent animal handling skills
- A calm and friendly presence
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
- Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
