The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills & enjoy working with people and their pets. Can multi-task, stay positive under pressure and work morning shift (6.30am - 12.30pm) or afternoon shift (12.00pm - 7.00pm)

**What Does The Role Entail?**
- Becoming one of the professional, friendly, caring & efficient front of house of HHPG
- Check dogs in, make grooming, day care, sleepover and walks bookings
- Educate, sell & cross-sell our services to our clients
- Feedback on customers’ reactions & comments about service & standards of care.
- Be able to achieve or exceed customer satisfaction
- The ability to deal with emotional or difficult clients
- Be adept at maintaining good communications with the team that are training / grooming / working with the dogs etc. about the state of play in the front of house areas
- Complete paperwork & cleaning the reception area.
- Be knowledgeable about the different breeds, health conditions, medications, diets & retails items
- Be able to handle small dogs, and large dogs on lead

**What Experience & Talents Do I Need To Apply?**
- Track record in a customer service role with good time management
- Dog training, doggy day care experience, vet nursing or pet care training or knowledge is strongly desirable
- Good standard of spoken and written English and computer literate
- A minimum of 2 years of service or animal industry experience
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Good time management, prioritisation and self-motivation skills
- Good communicator & team player that can develop & maintain a good rapport with people fast
- Must love animals
- Must have a positive attitude

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
