About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
GSW – Integrator – Solution
professional to join our team, specializing in the development and implementation of
mission-critical Grid Software / Energy Management Systems (EMS/SCADA/ADMS/OMS)
. This role demands strong expertise in
C++, Java, Linux
, and integration technologies to build scalable, high-performance solutions that support energy transmission and distribution operations.

You will play a key role in designing and developing software interfaces and web services to integrate multiple utility systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and seamless interoperability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement software for
    interfaces and web services
    to integrate various utility and grid management systems.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of
    Energy Management Systems (EMS)
    and
    SCADA applications
    .
  • Build and maintain
    Java-based middleware and business logic
    for mission-critical applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integration and operational excellence.
  • Develop
    WSDLs and XSDs
    for service-oriented architecture (SOA) implementations.
  • Support deployment, testing, and performance tuning in
    Linux
    and
    Windows
    environments.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive support, quality delivery, and system reliability.

Required Technical & Functional Skills

  • Programming Expertise:
  • Strong in
    C++
    ,
    Java
    , and
    Korn Shell (KSH)
    scripting.
  • Proven experience developing software for
    Windows
    and
    Linux
    platforms.
  • Database:
  • Proficient in
    SQL
    and
    PL/SQL
    with experience in
    Oracle
    databases.
  • Integration & Middleware:
  • Experience with
    Apache
    products:
    Geronimo, Tomcat, Camel, ServiceMix, Axis
    .
  • Familiarity with
    ESB/IBUS technologies
    such as
    Fuse ESB, TIBCO, WebSphere
    , etc.
  • SCADA Systems:
  • Preferable experience implementing
    GE XA/21 (Reliance)
    EMS/SCADA or equivalent systems from
    Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider
    , etc.
  • Web Services:
  • Skilled in developing
    WSDLs
    ,
    XSDs
    , and web service integrations (SOAP/REST).
  • Domain Knowledge:
  • Must have worked on
    Grid Applications
    such as
    SCADA, ADMS, EMS, or OMS
    .

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
    (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years
    of hands-on software development experience in
    C/C++
    ,
    Java
    , and
    Linux/Unix
    environments.
  • 5+ years
    of experience developing middleware and enterprise-grade integration solutions.
  • Solid understanding of
    Electric Transmission and Distribution Systems
    .
