Our client requires an Integration Engineer for an initial 6 month engagement. As a leader in their industry, this organisation has a truly national footprint and actively tries to improve and grow the wellbeing of its customers and employees. The team that you'll be joining is a highly technical project-focused team working on business-critical applications.

About the position:

The Integration Engineer is a key driver in the development and management of the organisation's software applications. This role focuses on the development, integration and optimisation of technology to enhance business processes, improve user experience and achieve operational excellence. The role will revolve around mainly SAP BTP suite specifically SAP Cloud Integration Platform and integration scripting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Development and implementation of integration solutions via middleware, ensuring seamless communication and functionality between disparate systems - including
  • Integration with enterprise corporate systems such as SAP.
  • Strategically implement and configure advanced software applications to meet organisational objectives and user requirements.
  • Conduct consultations with stakeholders to extract precise business requirements and goals.
  • Act as the technical authority of the company's BI data model and oversee its development and deployment within the organisation.

Experience:

  • Expertise in middleware platform SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) including SAP Cloud Integration suite and REST API Management
  • Extensive experience with javascript, SQL, React and JQuery
  • Comprehensive understanding of MS Azure services with ability to leverage cloud-native tools to support scalable, secure and modern integration solutions
  • Experience migrating and transforming legacy integration platforms to modern scalable architectures
  • Exposure to SAP ECC and SAP Fiori is desirable
