The Opportunity

You will undertake of a range of horticultural duties as directed including the maintenance of Council's parks assets and the operation of horticultural plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

This role encompasses a range of duties and responsibilities which may vary as directed by Council. The key ones include:

(1)  Operate of a range of horticultural plant and equipment in Councils parks, gardens and cemeteries;

(2)  As part of the Parks and Recreation team, carry out maintenance to park assets;

(3)  Complete allocated tasks consistently within agreed time frames.

About Yourself

A person in this position will need to hold a relevant Certificate II in Horticulture, OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience. It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate to have

·      Current Queensland C Class Licence. "MR" licence (Preferred or willing to obtain).

·      Construction Induction White Card (essential).

Salary Packaging Available

Leave Loading

You will receive 17.5% leave loading on top of your base rate of pay, while you are on Annual Leave.

Relocation Assistance
