We are seeking a Business Development & Sales Professional
to join our team full-time, on-site at our Wynnum office. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional who thrives on building meaningful connections, understands the

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has
3–4 years' experience
in sales and business development, with a background in
recruitment, HR, training and development, or service-based sales
highly regarded. - Understands the importance of the
people side
of business and is passionate about helping teams and leaders thrive. - Has a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Is driven, a natural connector, and motivated by ambitious goals.
- Communicates with confidence and clarity, both verbally and in writing.
- Can think strategically and intuitively pursue opportunities.
- Follows through with discipline and consistency in line with sales processes and strategic direction.
- Experience using Salesforce (CRM) will be highly regarded but is not essential.
About the Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for driving growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities, while also nurturing existing client relationships through upselling, cross-selling, and generating referrals. You'll work closely with senior management and our client success team, following a clear sales process and strategic direction, while also applying your own initiative to chase opportunities with confidence and intuition.
Key Responsibilities
- Following up on incoming leads including calls, emails, and meetings, building relationships with prospective clients to determine and guide them through relevant solutions and services.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across our DISC Profiling, team, and leadership development services.
- Preparing tailored, quality proposals and quotes for prospective, existing, and returning clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and aligning them with Team8's tailored solutions.
- Contribute to sales strategy while following established processes and systems to ensure consistency and impact.
- Using a Client Relationship Management (CRM) software (Salesforce) to consistently manage and report on the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead tracking to customer onboarding and ongoing relationship management, to ensure all customer interactions, sales activities, and project timelines are tracked and kept up to date to promote cross-team collaboration, consistency, and transparency.
- Collaborate closely with internal facilitators and consultants to deliver outstanding client experiences.
