Job Summary

We are seeking a Yard Hand to join our Rocklea depot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are properly cleaned, detailed, and ready for rental. This role requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

  • Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and cleaning technique

Responsibilities

  • Clean and detail vehicles according to company standards
  • Inspect vehicles for damage or defects before they are ready to rent
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly fuelled and have necessary fluids topped up
  • Assist with inventory management of vehicle cleaning supplies
  • Complete vehicle condition reports using an Ipad
  • Check over vehicles to ensure all items required are present and all items are working
  • General yard duties
  • Ensuring vehicles are displayed neatly and securely
  • Movement of vehicles to and from suppliers and customers as required
  • Assisting depot staff with vehicle hand overs and returns
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive detailing or maintenance preferred
  • Valid driver's license (HR preferred or willingly to obtain with our assistance)
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (Monday to Friday role)
