Plant Operator

This position offers long-term work, a Monday–Friday roster, and the chance to contribute to important civil construction and maintenance projects.

About the Role As the Plant Operator, you will assist with day-to-day civil works, operating a range of machinery and supporting general labouring tasks when required.
Equipment you may operate includes:
- Excavator
- Front-end loader
- Skid steer loader
- Six-wheel tipper
- Water cart
- Ride-on roller
- Crane truck
- Patching truck
- Drainage maintenance vehicles
- Saw truck or Flocon truck
Daily duties will include:
- Operating plant safely and efficiently
- Supporting ground and labouring work
- Setting up and conducting traffic management duties (where accredited)
- Completing plant checks, defect reporting, and basic paperwork
- Participating in toolbox meetings
- Following all safety and quality procedures
Essential Requirements (Only essential requirements listed — no extra or desirable tickets)
- Proven experience operating civil or construction plant
- Current HR, HC, or MR driver's license
- White Card
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM)
- Traffic Controller (TC) accreditation
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Ability to follow safe work practices
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
