This position offers long-term work, a Monday–Friday roster, and the chance to contribute to important civil construction and maintenance projects.

About the Role As the Plant Operator, you will assist with day-to-day civil works, operating a range of machinery and supporting general labouring tasks when required.

Equipment you may operate includes:

  • Excavator
  • Front-end loader
  • Skid steer loader
  • Six-wheel tipper
  • Water cart
  • Ride-on roller
  • Crane truck
  • Patching truck
  • Drainage maintenance vehicles
  • Saw truck or Flocon truck

Daily duties will include:

  • Operating plant safely and efficiently
  • Supporting ground and labouring work
  • Setting up and conducting traffic management duties (where accredited)
  • Completing plant checks, defect reporting, and basic paperwork
  • Participating in toolbox meetings
  • Following all safety and quality procedures

Essential Requirements (Only essential requirements listed — no extra or desirable tickets)

  • Proven experience operating civil or construction plant
  • Current HR, HC, or MR driver's license
  • White Card
  • Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM)
  • Traffic Controller (TC) accreditation
  • Strong communication and teamwork
  • Ability to follow safe work practices
  • National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
